    • File Structure of Tick Data Files

    All price data sold by Price-Data.com is in ASCII format, comma delimited files. Futures files will have a seperate file for each contract traded. We only offer tick data on select futures markets. Tick data is not avaibable for equity issues. The amount of data accumulated for one equity contract could be in excess of 100 MEGS for a 5 year period. Most computers would find dealing with a 100 MEG file quite difficult. We offer 1 minute contract data on equities instead. This makes files more manageable.
